Apple Touch Screen Tablet Confirmed for 2010

Imagine a dozen Apple touch screen tablets surrounding your music studio. Each screen filled with VSTs, virtual mixing boards, and touch sensitive keyboards. The studio of the future that we've all been wishing for could be on our way next year.
BusinessWeek mentioned that an inside source confirmed that Apple will produce and market a touch screen tablet computer next year. The device would be between an iPod touch and a MacBook, with a possible 10-inch screen.
10-inches might not seem like too much to work with, but for me, I'd love to be able to swipe my finger across my virtual controllers as I create sweeping trance leads.
As a fan and user of both Mac & PC (there are merits, benefits and detractors for both platforms), I will definitely be online to buy one of these bad boys.

| For real, dogg. I can't wait to apply it to a live performance. I think sooner or later there are gonna be touch-screen, flat-screen computer monitors in HD... and a day when they will be relics of the past, as well! ;) Posted on: 2009-05-24 17:47:41 |
